I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your encouragement during the 3 sessions I attended. I went from barely being able to run to the play structure and back to now running 6 miles. I would have never thought I could do back to back sessions (2 hours straight) and not collapse, but feel energized. I have lost weight and inches (in each of the 3 sessions) and gained strength, balance, endurance, energy and healthy eating habits.

Good Morning Allan..

Just wanted to thank-you for this past week.. Work-outs were amazing!!!! This morning's boot camp was a butt-kicking, but it was fantastic..

Lori was fabulous, loved her, loved her, loved her!! I found that she is very motivating, and I really enjoyed having her around.. She is a positive energy, a commanding voice, and she makes you want to push that much harder.. Did I mention that I loved her?? I also appreciate that she volunteered her time to help you, that means a lot.. Please thank her again for me..

Hello!
Just finished the June 2 boot camp with Alex.....thanks for motivating me to get back into shape. Although, this alone is not enough, it sure makes Yoga and running on the treadmill sooo much easier and enjoyable! This bootcamp got me back into shape so I can do my usual workout! Alan, you REALLY do know what you are doing! (hee hee!) All the best....Cindy Crockett

I was very intimidated right before boot camp started because I thought it is just like what I see on TV, the instructor just yells at you and makes you feel even more awful about yourself....totally not the experience I got from Danielle! She was very motivating and highly energetic especially at 5:30 in the morning! When I thought that I could not continue anymore and was getting discouraged, she stuck with me and gave me my "second wind". Thank you so much for being great at what you do Danielle! You're not just our instructor, you have become a great friend to all of us! Oh yeah, I could not have been happier with my results....I never thought I could jump that high when I saw them....thanks again! I have regained my confidence and will definitely keep pushing forward.

Oh my gosh! I thought I would die the first week, but wow was it ever worth it! I lost pounds and inches! Our instructor was lots of fun and the group of women was great. I signed up for another class and couldn't wait until it started!

I really enjoyed the overall experience that this class gave me. The exercises that we learned in class is something we can bring home with us, which I think is awesome (for those of us who don't like using workout machines). I mean I have a whole gym in my basement because of my parents but personally I really enjoyed using our own strength to work our body parts so I am going to continue doing that.

Overall I recommend bootcamp to each and everyone of you, younger or older!

Also, I am going to be joining up again in March! So bootcamp beware!

Even though I have been working out my whole life, I really felt challenged. Sandi & Colin were always there to make me push myself harder and offer modifications if need be. I found the humour the instructors had very encouraging and something to look forward to besides the grueling workouts!!!!! I am glad I signed up so I signed up again!!!! I would recommend everyone try one round for sure!!!!!

I thought the experience was excellent! It challenged me but was also a lot of fun, thanks in part to my work out partner and the group of women that were crazy enough to get up to work out at 4:45am! I'm doing another one right away and would encourage people of all fitness levels to attend...you work as hard as you can, do what you can and only compete against your own personal best.

My overall experience at the bootcamp was excellent. Sandi,our instructor,was knowledgable,skilled and helpful.Everybody in the group was there to work hard to get maximum benefit which encouraged me to do the same.I hope to continue working out regularly.

My second round of boot camp was great. What a fantastic workout! I enjoyed it as much, or even better, than my first round. Some weight lose was my reward for all the ab work, push ups, lunges, squats and skipping we had to do. I thoroughly enjoyed the weight training sessions.
Sandi was encouraging and fun.

I have just finished 2 rounds of 5 day a week am sessions with Richard. I really enjoyed most of the session(burpees and manmakers EXCLUDED!). Richard puts on a challenging workout but seems to be open to suggestions to individualize the program. It really is true though you get out of it what you put into it. The harder you work, the better results. He never wastes time and really is very encouraging. We had alot of fun and results were encouraging for me. I will definately sign up for another camp run by him. Cathy B

Just finished my first 3 day a week bootcamp this evening.
What an experience. It was great. I hadn't done that much exercise in many years. It felt like high school gym class but better.
The workouts were challenging and suited to your level if you couldn't do exactly what was shown.
Sandi was great. Very helpful. The facilities were wonderful and close to home.

Sandi (aka. Queen of a Million reps!) is awesome and will whip your butt into shape. This is my second round of boot camp and I enjoyed it as much, if not more, than the first time. Highly recommended! It's a great way to get fit, meet people, and to gain knowledge about fitness & wellness.

Boot Camp was a lot of fun. The instructors were fun, encouraging, and motivating. I learned some great exercises that I can continue with at home. I would definitely recommend Boot Camp to anyone who wants to have fun and get fit. It's also great for people of all fitness levels.

Richard Insley, the Boot Camp Instructor at Fraser's Grove Park was very encouraging and knowledgeable. He varied the workouts so that I felt challenged every single time I attended a session. I went into this experience to be challenged and challenged I was.

This was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had! Really! Prior to boot camp I thought I was in shape! I worked out on the eliptical 3 times per week and strength training 2 times per week. Hah!!!
I was soooo sore the first week that I smelled of rub A535 and could not walk down the stairs without wincing in pain!
However I did perservere and was much better as time went on. I learned that it was important to "mix it up" for my muscles to actually get a good work out. I did work out on saturdays with the new knowledge that i now had and could be seen doing side shuffles down Wellington Crescent to the amusement of the cars passing me by. I also would stop abrubptly and do 15 - 20 burpees and finished by doing lunges down my driveway. For this I lost 3 inches off of my waist and one off of my hips and I am now 5 pounds lighter!

I LOVED IT!!!!!

This is probably the best thing that anyone could do for themselves and I highly recommend it!

I made it through the 5 day program and was pumped... ended up joining for another 3 day program. This was one of the best decisions I've ever made with regard to my fitness. Haven't seen much results on the scale, but the lost inches have been my reward. The Fraser's Grove class is a tonne of sweaty, entertaining, screaming muscle "fun". Boot camp boy really pushes us to the max which is great, - and keeps the camps interesting. ("Thanks" isn't the word they usually hear us muttering during a class - but thank you Richard, Allan and Vanithy!) Can we do more lunges next time?? :)

I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the class. I felt that I was in "pretty good" condition before taking it, but am so impressed with the results that were attained in such little time! I enjoyed the whole boot camp experience ( 5 days per week) so much that I enrolled for another 4 weeks this time for 3 day week. Allan Zimmer is a true professional and encouraged us to really push ourselves. I was running, doing push-ups, sit-ups
lunges, squats and lots of other strength testing excercises.
I used many of the excercises (walking lunges)and stretches out at our cottage all summer long. I rode the trails in the Whiteshell with childhood abandon at breakneck speed (for me). I'm so proud of myself and I feel so good. Thank-you, thank-you thank-you!
